Cancellation & Refund Policy

Portland Short Bus accepts cash, checks, and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard).

A reservation deposit of $150 or 25% of the rental cost, which ever is greater, is due in order to secure your reservation date. When using a credit card, it will be authorized for the estimated amount of the rental cost at this time.

Refunds for Client Cancellations:
If you cancel your booking within 14 days of your scheduled event, your reservation deposit will not be eligible for a refund. A full refund will be issued if you cancel your booking at least 14 days in advance of your scheduled event.

Refunds for Public Tour Events
If you purchase a ticket for one of our open to the public tours, we do not offer refunds for any reason. You may, however, transfer you ticket to someone else if you are unable to attend. In the event that the driver and/or tour host must eject a passenger, or prematurely end to tour due to breaking our bus rules, there will be no refunds issued.

Refunds for Mechanical Failure:
A full refund will be issued if there is a mechanical failure of our equipment that impedes upon your reserved time. There are no refunds for trip delays based on factors out of our control, including, but not limited to weather, traffic congestion, or road construction.

The Vomit Clean-Up Fee:
If at any point, any member of your group vomits, or emits any other bodily fluid inside the bus, you will be charged an additional $100 clean up fee on your final bill. This will either be added to your authorized credit card charges, or you may choose to pay it in cash to the driver. Please note that sticking your head or other body parts outside the window while the bus is in motion is prohibited.

Portland Short Bus reserves the right to change these refund policies at any time.
